Alex Thomas-Smith, 22, made his television debut at the age of 11 in the BAFTA Award-winning CBBC drama The Revenge Files of Alistair Fury.
The Leeds born actor later moved to London to train at Arts Educational Schools drama school, and continued to build on his television work as a series regular in the children’s mystery drama Dixi. Thomas-Smith has also appeared in theatre productions, making his stage debut in 2016 in the Olivier Award-nominated musical Bugsy Malone, and is about to finish a year’s contract in the West End production of the hit musical Motown. Now, Thomas-Smith is preparing for his biggest role to date, as he is set to tread the boards playing Tink in the Evening Standard Award’s Best Musical Bat Out Of Hell, opening at the Dominion Theatre this April.
